The Production Scheduler plays a key role in ensuring efficient production operations by managing schedules, resolving conflicts, and maintaining clear communication across teams. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, analytical, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Estimate production time for each order with consideration of machine availability, material and tooling, number of operations involved, manufacturing backlog, order quantity, and complexity of product
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and oversee products through the entire production cycle, ensuring all deadlines are met
• Ability to troubleshoot throughout the molding process to ensure maximum machine utilization
• Address material shortages, backlogs, plant capacity, and other potential disruptions to maintain smooth production flow
• Track the progression of production orders, investigate factors affecting schedules, and adjust plans as necessary
• Establish and communicate daily production priorities to both the production team and tooling team
• Work closely with Customer Service to provide timely updates and information to customers
• Calculate and report on-time delivery performance and production area efficiency to support continuous improvement
• Monitor completed customer inventory, update records, and report any issues requiring action
• Ability to adapt to dynamic production changes
• Perform other related duties as needed to support department and site objectives

Qualifications

• Knowledge of injection molding, personnel, tooling, robotics/automation, and molding processes or strong understanding of mechanical processes in lieu of injection molding experience
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field
• Project Management experience and/or certification preferred
• 3-5 years experience in manufacturing scheduling; knowledge of inventory management, cycle times
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy in work
• Customer-relations oriented disposition
• Effective written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with various teams
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, be flexible and adaptable with changes and obstacles, and make decisions as needed

Compensation

Preform Solutions, Inc. offers competitive starting pay for this position, with the actual rate dependent on previous job experience.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm
• Additional hours may be required depending on workload
