• 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM
• 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM

About the Role:

Enter a refined world of global hospitality at the Korean Air Premium Lounge at LAX. Sodexo Live! is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Line Cook to support an elevated culinary program serving international travelers. This role is ideal for a culinary professional who thrives in a polished, fast-paced environment and takes pride in precision, presentation, and consistency. Experience with Korean cuisine is strongly preferred, along with a passion for executing thoughtfully prepared dishes that reflect authenticity and quality.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2–3+ years of culinary experience in high-volume kitchens, upscale dining, hotels, airline lounges, or luxury hospitality environments.
• Strong knife skills and ability to execute recipes with accuracy and consistency.
• Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Team-oriented, dependable, and adaptable in a dynamic airport environment.
• Professional demeanor with a genuine passion for hospitality and culinary excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and production guidelines.
• Execute both hot and cold food preparations, including grill, sauté, and specialty stations as assigned.
• Assist with mise en place, including washing, peeling, cutting, trimming, marinating, and portioning proteins and produce.
• Ensure proper food storage, labeling, rotation, and temperature control in compliance with HACCP standards.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized workstations at all times.
• Monitor food quality, taste products for consistency, and communicate production needs to leadership.
• Follow corporate, federal, and state food safety regulations and all Sodexo Live! policies.
• Attend required food safety, allergy awareness, and safety training sessions.
• Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or product shortages promptly and accurately.

You Will:

• Execute menu items that reflect the sophistication and authenticity of Korean Air’s brand.
• Prepare and present food with precision in both buffet and a la carte settings.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
• Work collaboratively with fellow culinary professionals to maintain smooth service flow.
• Support daily kitchen operations, including prep, station setup, and breakdown.
