Plant Controller II - Petersburg, VA (Steel Manufacturing)

What You’ll Do:

• Lead all plant financial reporting, including inventories, production, payroll, and payables.
• Analyze operating results and provide clear, actionable insights to improve performance.
• Drive forecasting, budgeting, and business planning for the mill.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and maintain a strong internal control environment.
• Partner with operations to validate material usage, production costs, and inventory accuracy.
• Lead and develop a local accounting team.
• Support capital projects and financial modeling.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5-8 years of cost/general accounting experience in manufacturing (metals preferred).
• Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and BI reporting experience.
• SAP experience strongly preferred.
• CPA/CMA/CA a plus.
• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly and influence decision‑making.
