Job Description

Salary: $98,000 - 138,000 per year Requirements:

  • Over 3 years of experience in software development.
  • A minimum of 1 year working directly with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Proven expertise in API design and crafting RAML specifications.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe.
  • Comprehensive understanding of API security, governance, and policy enforcement mechanisms.
  • Experience with messaging queues and event-driven architecture principles.
  • Strong grasp of enterprise integration patterns (EIPs).
  • Hands-on proficiency with REST/SOAP protocols, JSON, XML, and DataWeave technology.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain integrations and APIs utilizing Anypoint Studio and the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Create high-quality RAML specifications while adhering to API-led connectivity principles across various layers.
  • Implement secure API frameworks, including OAuth 2.0, TLS/mTLS, and client ID enforcement strategies.
  • Integrate with REST/SOAP services, various SaaS applications, databases, and legacy systems.
  • Develop asynchronous and event-driven integrations utilizing JMS, Anypoint MQ, Kafka, or other messaging frameworks.
  • Apply established integration patterns, including orchestration, routing, transformation, and standard error handling protocols.
  • Build and optimize DataWeave transformations for various data formats including JSON, XML, and CSV.
  • Manage API configuration and governance in Anypoint API Manager; enforce security and governance protocols.
  • Conduct unit testing with MUnit and engage in debugging and performance optimization tasks.
  • Take part in code and documentation reviews while contributing to the establishment of integration standards and best practices.
  • Assist the QA team during integration/system testing and support deployment processes across varied environments.
  • Maintain current technical documentation covering APIs, integrations, and deployment procedures.
  • Stay up to date with MuleSoft platform enhancements, connectors, and industry integration trends.
