Job Description

Salary: $130,000 - 160,000 per year Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
• Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Proficient ETL developer with hands-on expertise in developing extensive Data engineering pipelines for financial services, especially in risk management
• At least 6 years of experience in building and maintaining large-scale Data warehouse applications in cloud environments
• Minimum of 3 years of Python development experience, focusing on creating complex data pipelines for Snowflake Database
• A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in writing, optimizing, and managing complex SQL, including creating stored procedures and database objects for substantial data warehouse systems such as Snowflake and Oracle
• Familiarity with Dimensional modeling techniques, including Star schema and type 2 slowly changing dimensions
• Practical experience in shell scripting for handling ELT pipelines using Python or Snowpark
• Experience with Autosys JILs for orchestration or Airflow
• Knowledge of ETL tools like Talend or similar for creating heterogeneous pipelines
• Strong practical experience in code versioning using Bitbucket, GIT, and Liquibase, including managing multiple release versions and CI/CD pipelines
• Good understanding of Enterprise Data integration concepts, Data warehouse modeling, and Data architecture patterns
• Experience working on Agile projects and knowledge of Jira for project task management

• Lead engineering and development projects from inception to completion with minimal oversight
• Provide technical and operational assistance to our customer base as well as other technical divisions within the organization
• Oversee and evaluate the system design and architecture
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose solutions
• Engage in risk management tasks, such as reconciling vulnerabilities and establishing security baselines, along with other risk and audit objectives
• Prioritize and refine the teams backlog in collaboration with product management
• Mentor and guide team members, including employees and consultants
• Focus on employee engagement, development, and performance evaluations
• Facilitate user training to enhance platform awareness
• Ensure timely resolution of incident, problem, and change tickets while escalating any technical or managerial issues when necessary
• Guarantee accuracy and consistency of data from source systems and coordinate with data product managers to resolve issues appropriately
• Adhere to DTCCs ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem resolution
