Job Description

We are seeking energetic and customer-focused individuals to join our hospitality event staff. As a part of the team, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of events, providing excellent guest service, and assisting with event logistics. Whether you’re managing guest inquiries or helping with the event setup and teardown, you’ll contribute to creating memorable experiences for event attendees.

Key Responsibilities:

•   Event Setup and Teardown:  Assist in preparing venues for events, including arranging furniture, setting up equipment, and ensuring the space is clean and organized before and after events.
•   Guest Services:  Greet guests, answer questions, and provide information about the event. Direct guests to designated areas and ensure they have an enjoyable experience.
•   Food and Beverage Service:  Assist in serving food and drinks, monitor food stations, and replenish supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
•   Crowd Management:  Help manage crowd control, check tickets or event passes, and ensure that guests follow event rules and regulations.
•   Problem Resolution:  Address guest concerns, handle unexpected issues, and communicate with event management to resolve problems quickly and effectively.
•   Event Monitoring:  Monitor event activities to ensure smooth operation and report any issues or irregularities to the supervisor or manager.
•   Maintain Cleanliness:  Ensure the venue remains clean throughout the event by picking up trash, wiping down surfaces, and assisting with any housekeeping tasks.

Qualifications:

•   Customer Service Skills:  Must have a strong commitment to providing excellent guest service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
•   Communication:  Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
•   Team Player:  Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
•   Attention to Detail:  Ability to stay focused and organized, especially when dealing with multiple tasks at once.
•   Physical Stamina:  Able to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform physical tasks associated with event setup and teardown.
•   Flexibility:  Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.

Preferred Experience:

•  Previous experience in hospitality, bartending, customer service, or event-related roles is a plus.
•  Knowledge of basic food and beverage service practices.
