Job Description/ Responsibilities/ Years of experience:
Seeking a Mid Functional QA Tester to assess software quality through manual testing with strong hands on SQL and API testing using Postman.
The candidate will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.
Review and analyze system specifications. Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
Execute test cases manual or automated and analyze results. Evaluate product code according to specifications.
Create logs to document testing phases and defects. Report bugs and errors to development teams.
Help troubleshoot issues.
Conduct post release post-implementation testing.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Should have QA automation knowledge
Should have working experience in using AI tools for QA testing
What are the top skills required for this role?
Good knowledge in API using Postman
Good in SQL writing simple to complex joins
Experience working in Agile env.
Good experience on JIRA for writing test cases , test execution and raising bugs.
Good knowledge in Functional testing concepts
Need to have knowledge in automation concepts
Need working knowledge on AI tools like Claude/GitHub Copilot for test case generation, test documentation and execution etc.
