Job Description

Salary: $145,600 - 156,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be accepted.
• Demonstrated experience with Snowflake Data Cloud and its core features, including Snowpark, Snowpipe, and Time Travel.
• Proficient in Python programming for data processing and analysis.
• Advanced SQL knowledge, with the ability to apply window functions for complex calculations and assessments.
• Experience in creating interactive dashboards using Tableau or similar visualization platforms.
• Strong grasp of data engineering best practices, incorporating data integrity, regulatory compliance, and real-time data ingestion methods.
• Familiarity with cloud data architecture and concepts such as Zero Copy Cloning and scalable application development.
• Certification in Snowflake or related cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
• Background in supply chain analytics or experience supporting business systems in a large-scale setting is an advantage.
• Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to engage across teams, including product managers, analysts, and other engineering departments.

• Perform data analysis and reporting utilizing SQL window functions for advanced data calculations, providing insights into sales trends and performance metrics.
• Assemble and automate real-time reports using Python and SQL, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders and enhancing our decision-making processes.
• Design and refine data pipelines with Snowpipe and SnowSQL for both real-time and batch data ingestion, achieving a 20% increase in data processing efficiency.
• Utilize Snowpark to develop scalable, high-performance data applications with Python, improving our data manipulation and processing capabilities.
• Employ Snowflakes Time Travel features for data auditing, recovery, and version control, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulations.
• Manage Snowflakes Zero Copy Cloning to efficiently create development, testing, and staging environments without incurring additional storage expenses.
• Partner with product managers to create dynamic dashboards on Tableau, facilitating the monitoring of key supply chain metrics and identifying Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
