• Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.

The Charge Nurse—Psychiatric Unit will oversee the delivery of optimal, safe, quality nursing care and regulatory compliance while providing leadership to staff by being an effective resource, role model, mentor, and change agent.

Job Requirements: 

• An associate’s degree in nursing required.

• Active and current New Jersey Registered Nurse license

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• At least 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience, prior Charge or Lead nursing experience.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
